From 22-29 September, Innovalley’s bags YouShine were exposed at the 16th edition of the ITMA, the most important textile machinery exhibition in the world.
For the first time, Fira Barcelona’s Gran Via trade fair site hosted this event which is held in a different city every four years. Previous editions have taken place in cities such as Milan, Hanover, Basel, Paris, Birmingham and Munich. This edition gathered 120,000 visitors, 1,350 exhibitors and had 240,000 m2 of exhibition space.
We want to thank ITMA and our partner, CETEMMSA, for giving us the the opportunity to expose our product and participate in the most important textile exhibition in the world. Innovalley’s goal is to revolutionize the textile world by partnering and co-developing innovative products with clothing and footwear brands.

José Luis Agell was interviewed by Chris Gill, President of SVASE, on Silicon Valley Entrepreneur TV. The interview took place 2 weeks after the Launch Silicon Valley event where Innovalley was selected most likely to succeed.

Innovalley is proud to announce that we successfully presented at the European Startup Demo Night on July 21st in PariSoma.
EU Startup Demo Night is an event co-organized by Swissnex San Francisco, faber Novel, and Blackbox. 10 young entrepreneurs from all over Europe, selected among 100 applicants, presented in front of an audience of select VCs and fellow startups gathered at Parisoma.
Jose Luis Agell presented Innovalley and our smart apparel solutions getting great feedback from potential partners and investors.

After a month of intense work, the first edition of Imagine Creativity Center has come to an end. The program’s highlight was the final event that took place last Wednesday at Public Works, San Francisco. The participants, the dreamers, presented their ideas around 4 projects: the future of mobility, smart apparel 2.0, the future of shopping experience and the future of advertising.
Innovalley, as sponsor of Imagine, led the project about smart apparel 2.0.
Janire, Óscar and Aitor (the Smart Apparel team) surprised us with an innovative solution to improve the sleeping experience. Their project, called Smart Sleeping, consists of a set of connected blanket, pillow and pajamas that interact with a Smart phone app. The system includes revolutionary features like biometric tracking, multimedia resources, communication capacities… Moreover, users can set up their profile from the app, store it on the cloud and take their sleeping experience anywhere.

The event gathered the Silicon Valley’s top VCs, Angels, corporate development executives, entrepreneurs, bloggers and media.It was great meeting so many interesting people, interact with investors and see their interest in our Youshine bags and new products. Above all, we’re very excited to announce that the audience voted Innovalley as ‘most likely to succeed, 2011′ on the mobile category. This recognition is a new source of energy to keep on walking and a proof that we’re taking the right path. The Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs (SVASE) just announced the name of the 30 companies that are demonstrating its products or services at Launch Silicon Valley 2011. The selected companies will be presenting on stage for 6 minutes in front of Silicon Valley’s most influential VC and Angel Investors.
We are thrilled to announce that Innovalley is one of these 30 companies (selected from over 300 applicants).
The event will begin on June 7 at 8.30 at Microsoft’s Mountain View Campus and is co-presented by SVASE, Garage Technology Ventures and Microsoft.
